As we mentioned in class, there is a lot of positive feedback about this course. The organization, the most updated information that the teacher used, the useful knowledge we got from the course... among others.
Now that technology is such an important topic and tool when instructing, this course was very helpful to provde us the knowledge and awareness of the latest technologies that we can use for future situations and even in actual jobs.
"No one who achieves success does so without the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude" -- Alfred North Whitehead
So I thank you teacher for such amazing course

Wikispaces
This was the most important project we did. It was about choosing a topic for a class and create a whole lesson plan in a wiki. This is so nice because in case we need the information for further cases you know the information will be on line and also we are able to modify it anytime.
Here are the wikis we got from the groups

Video and reading comments about Educational Technology
A. We saw 2 videos very interesting and this is what I can share:
Three Faces of Educational Technology
• Phase 1. Teachers start with a dynamic presentation
• Phase 2. Textbooks are replaced with electronically devices, use on line sources for different knowledge
• Phase 3. Teacher should see students as producers of information. There should be a product at the end. It can be a movie, podcast… etc. Student as publisher; to share their results with a wider audience so the student will also became audience for other. Student as peer reviewers; they can share ideas and provide feedback to their partners.
Why we need to teach technology in schools
We need to use the technology that has been invented; it can improve our work, the communication, and a lot of things in our live. As technology is changing every day, if we are not thought to use these tools we can be left behind. We must motive them to create, to manipulate and to innovate. Using digital tools kids nowadays feel motivated.
B. The reading we did was about How People Learn and what Technology might have to do with it by Driscoll, Marcy P.
The author mentioned 4 principals for teachers to think about how technology can support their instruction:
• Learning occurs in context: Technology is being created to engage people into real situations. Video games and different kind of medias are interesting so kids feel challenged and they spend hours solving problems shown in this games.
• Learning is active: technology is design to promote creation and innovation so we should motivate them to perform their ideas and actively work taking advantage of the technology facilitates.
• Learning is social: Technology has focused in the social aspect that’s why there are a lot of software that can connect students within a social network like CSILE
• Learning is reflective: this talk about providing feedback among the students so they can have a different perspective of their works and their critical thinking is wider.
It is really important when he mentioned that technology by itself cannot guarantee learning but if we as educators can guide students and effectively work with technology and students we can rich great learning.

Introduction
Hi! I am studying English Education and my emphasis is with Early Childhood Education. I love children’s spirit and I do believe that the younger you learn languages the better you will develop your skills in those idioms. So I am looking forward to have a kindergarten one day and provide the best education possible. One of the important characteristics of educational centers and early stimulation these days is technology. It has become the most attractive tool to learn and also teach. Hope I get much of that this course!!!
