Multiple Intelligences
I really enjoyed this assignment, I think Inspiration 9 is an extremelly cool program and usefull as well as easy to managed which is great. I read the article and also looked for further information and I found there are 8 intelligences(it can be more) and also found a nice PPT about this, you can found it in this link

Hey, here are a lot of links to web pages with activities for efficient learning such as reading, writing, listening and pronunciation but first of all I want to share the most awesome page I found. If you are interesting in teaching kids this is going to be very helpful

Reading
1) ESL resource center: you can choose mini stories, speed readings, extensive, science reading with exercises
2) Online practice reading tests: this link has a couple of stories per level and each respective practice, the good thing about this one is that you can choose between different grades.
3) Speed Reading test: You will get your reading speed as soon as you have finished your timed reading. You may then perform a comprehension test with a series of questions about the text you have just read
4) Get The Idea – This activity helps you find main ideas when reading. Main ideas facilitate readers remember important information
5) Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homonyms: I loved this activity because by clicking on a part of ¨The Land of the Rocket to the Moon¨ it shows you a pair of words; write S for synonyms , A for antonyms, or H for homonyms beside the pairs
Writing
1) Irregular Noun Plurals – these are interactive quizzes but besides the quizzes it gives you a very nice explanation of the topic
2) Punctuation campaign: it gives you a sentence and then a little drawing with the punctuations marks and you have to correct the sentence
3) Zoo Crew: This science game is a fun way for kids to expand their vocabulary and keep their reading skills sharp
4) Affect and Effect usage error: this is a practice and explanation of affect and effect in a sentence, it gives five sample questions grade available
5) Words commonly confused: it is very useful spreadsheet that gives the works that people usually confused and if you click in there you will see the explanations and some practice
Listening
1) You can Listen and answer the questions based on what you hear. The story is repeated twice
2) This exercise asks you to determine the most appropriate answer for each question you hear. Click the LISTEN button and after you hear the question, click on the best possible answer
3) You can choose for specific topics and each topic have a little explanation about the vocabulary, then you hear a conversation related to the subject and answer the questions base on what you understood
4) This link has different test for each grade. For example with the beginners the question is a work spoken very clearly and you have to choose for the right answer.
5) This link has convesations really interesting about topics such as Television Ratings System, The Death Penalty, Race Relations in the U.S., Waste and Recycling, Human Cloning, Halloween Activity, so besides you practice the listening part and also you answer with the right information, you learn about the matters
Pronunciation
1) Ending digraphs: It is really cool because it shows you the image and then 3 different options of the word ended sounds. It also gives you the calcification.
2) Wordblender: make words by choosing a start sound (onset) and an end sound (rime) to blend together. Wordblender will tell you if you're right or not.
3) Ending consonants: it gives you images and choose the option if the word ends in a consonant or not.
4) Short Vowel Practice: you will have to select the correct spelling of word
5) Word Families: it is a magnetic board where you can create new words from word endings, How many words can you make using the same endings?
